Product Description
It converts a wide-range AC input into regulated 5 V dc and 24 V dc outputs that power the chassis backplane, so processors, I/O and communication modules in the same rack operate reliably. The module accepts 85-132 V ac or 170-265 V ac at 47-63 Hz and supplies up to 10.0 A at 5 V dc plus a 24 V dc auxiliary output for small external loads. Built-in fuse protection, 45 A inrush tolerance and a Class I, Division 2 rating make it suitable for demanding industrial and hazardous-location control panels. The Allen-Bradley 1746-P4 is a rack-mounted AC power supply for the SLC 500 programmable controller platform.
