Product Description
It provides eight Class A IO-Link ports and supports multiprotocol operation over PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, CC-Link IE Field Basic and Modbus TCP. Each module offers up to 16 PNP digital inputs and 8 PNP digital outputs, with M12 connectors for fieldbus, power and I/O. Its rugged nickel-plated die-cast housing and wide temperature range suit demanding industrial environments. The FAS 007B31 (type FNI MPL-506-105-M) is a field-mount IO-Link master and digital I/O module designed for IP67 installation directly on the machine.

The 007B31 is a multiprotocol IO-Link master: the active protocol is selected by restoring factory settings and switching the communication protocol in the module configuration. Network segment modification, and for CC-Link IE Field Basic the number of occupied stations, applies only to the EtherNet/IP and CC-Link IE Field Basic protocols. The module uses Class A master ports and is documented in the 26-page FAS brochure.
