Product Description
When wired to an enclosure heater, it energises the heater at the humidity set point to raise the dew point and prevent condensation and corrosion of electronic components, and it can also switch cooling fans, warning lights or other devices. The contact is a changeover (SPDT) type with a maximum switching capacity of 250 V AC, 5(0.2) A / 20 W DC, and the unit clips onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail. The Leipole JWT6013 is an electromechanical panel hygrostat that regulates the relative humidity inside electrical enclosures.

The related JWT6011 / JWT6011F / JWT6011R and JWT6012 are temperature thermostats with a 0-60 °C range, not humidity controllers, so they are not direct substitutes. The JWT6013 is distinguished by its 30-90% RH sensing range and SPDT changeover contact; its order code is 2021.005. For most electronic components the critical internal humidity level is about 65% RH, above which condensation can form.
