The NSK 6005 series is available in several variants: 6005 (open), 6005Z (metal shield on one side), 6005ZZ (metal shields on both sides), 6005DDU (contact rubber seals on both sides), and 6005VV (non-contact rubber seals on both sides). The 6005Z variant offers protection from large particles while allowing higher speed capability compared to rubber-sealed versions. For applications requiring protection from fine contaminants or moisture, the 6005DDU or 6005VV are recommended. The open version (6005) requires external lubrication and is suitable for high-speed applications with oil lubrication.
